I respect the law, and like things to be fair. I believe that the government should be ruled BY THE MAJORITY as our CONSTITUTION makes allowance for.
I respect the Constitution, and LOVE my RIGHTS and don’t like it when anyone infringes on them!
I don’t think abstract groups should have the rights that a human does. They aren’t people but are a group of people …
I believe in free thought and a free market NOT ran by monopolies.
According to these Republicans, all Tea Party sympathizers [and many to the extreme ... like Rep. King] I am evil, vile, prone to violence.
All they are is afraid of free thought and free expression, they’re afraid of Americans using our rights! They are afraid of loosing their own elite status.
They try to confuse us, they try to propagate lies about us and vilify us in hope that their drone will fear us.
Lets show them that they are wrong, that we are right!

President Lincoln, in his famous Gettysburg Address, said the now famous words:
‘that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.’
now the key point here is not a nation under God, it’s not a new birth of freedom [in direct reference to the civil war being fought]. No the key words, the most important words, are this ‘and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth’.
You got it right? Of the people, By the people, For the people!
Sadly, somewhere along the long course of history, things have changed. Yes we still vote on our representatives and senators and on the President. BUT these days, it’s easy for a rich candidate or a candidate with rich backing, to ‘buy’ an election. [that is win due to the overwhelming riches. Whether voters were 'bought' or the other candidates got no ad time etc due to the riches behind the winner who could buy all the ads etc.]
Further more, and possibly even more disturbing, is the fact that corporations, are now according to the Supreme Court, are now able to act as human beings and influence elections. Corporations can now participate in every step except casting a vote [BUT they can and at times do demand employees vote a certain way and they also do pump millions to their choice candidate[s] in return for political favors down the road]
Somewhere along the line, we strayed. We went from having a government of the people, by the people, for the people to having a government of the corporations, by the CEO’s, for the profits!
It shouldn’t be so … we can’t allow this injustice to continue. We’re not anti-riches. We’re not anti-capitalism. [Although I prefer the phrase I am against unEthical Capitalism and all for Ethical Capitalism]. We’re not anti-America nor are we a threat to National Security. To the contrary, we want a more secure America, secure for all not just the rich.
So repeat with me … we must return to a government of the people, by the people, for the people and must stop a government of the corporations, by the CEO’s, for the profit.

We will no longer be silent.
We will no longer sit idly by being intimidated by injustice.

Been sick for a few days. Sorry for no posts. Meanwhile my family was busy making shirts reading ‘I am, You are, WE ARE; The 99%’ and similar quotes. Working on signs tomorrow then to our city park!
Important news, this seems to have started in Boston, a police crackdown on the protests. The [shameful] Boston Police Dept. claimed the protesters we’re unlawfully assembled. While all other indications are to the contrary.
They even arrested Veterans for America members … Shameful!
Seems this isn’t completely isolated though. Reports from Seattle, Dallas and Atlanta all say the police are cracking down. Seems coordinated.
We’re peacefully protesting, exercising our RIGHTS as AMERICANS. We’re not being violent, we’re only a threat to the rich and powerful, the Tea Party and other extremists.
We’re NOT a threat to National Security [despite Rep. Allen West requesting a DHS crackdown saying we are] On the contrary, we want a Nation that is more secure and that does better! We want to prevent enemies both foreign and domestic, from destroying our Nation via any means they are employing.
The top 1% wants to keep control, but they can’t. History will be on OUR SIDE if we keep peaceful and keep within out rights!

So by now we all [should] know that the ‘Occupy Protests’ have caught on and are spreading like wildfires. But did you know that almost daily there are new groups backing the movement? From Wall St., NYC to Spokane, WA and Seattle, WA. From Olympia, WA to Portland, OR and all through California. In Denver, CO, Cincinatti, OH, Austin TX and now even Washington D.C. , the protesters are almost everywhere it seems.

Okay, ideally I’ll be adding at least 1 post a day with hopefully more than that. My posts will try to show a good cross-section of different specific ‘Occupy’ protests. I’m new to using wordpress and just discovered that while I can create multiple ‘pages’ any post will go to what is designated as the ‘home’ page by default. The solution, at least for now, will be to add a larger and bold date designator [with a time stamp] at the Beginning of a ‘new update’ and just have them all on the specific page they fit on. [i.e. General info on the General page, new events on the Events page, City specific on their cities page (which right now is only Spokane, WA so far)]
While on Google Plus this evening [I'm highly active there and on twitter] I saw this video. It’s of an ‘officer of the law’ [breaking a law] beating protesters back with a baton. Now I can be fair, we didn’t see exactly what led up to this action. But based on the history of this movement so far, I think it’s a fair guess to say it was overzealous and a largely unprovoked action. [Similar to police punching protestors, being overly rough in wrestling them down for arrest and pepper spraying for no good cause]

First post to this page, hope you like it. Of course we’ve been paying close attention to ALL the ‘Occupy Protests’ happening Nationwide. We wanted to shed light on a few things though. So we’ll introduce the topic then you can click the link…
1. Yahoo admitted to an “error” in their spam system that caused any emails that had mention of Occupy Wall St. to be routed to a spam folder. Have they [completely] fixed it? Let us know … let the world know!
2. So it’s probably no surprise to anyone reading this that faux news has had little to say [until recently]. To many faux is nothing more than a propagandist engine full of extremists commentators. According to the video link below, any of us who participate [and probably those who support] in the Occupy Wall St. [or any Occupy Protest] are ‘uneducated and potentially violent’ [So much for those holding college degrees or the other professionals supporting us. Never mind it's the police who've been violent. Here's the link]
3. Finally a new outlet being honest about Occupy Wall St. and showing who is at fault of the violence. The few who turned the peaceful protest in to a violent confrontation … wore badges [so said the anchor in the video]. Why is the media being quite on this but not on the Tea Party … you decide:
